Position Description
The City of Edina is currently seeking applications for instructor positions at Edina Art Center. Hours vary by position and need of the facility, but there are a wide variety of day, evening, weekend available. Hours vary from 10-35 hours per week. The salary range varies by position and experience.
Available Position options:
- Watercolor Instructor – all levels
- Drawing Instructor – Adults
- Beginning Acrylic – Adults
- Pastel drawing – all levels

Essential Functions
- Develop classes and/or workshops that advance the goals of the Edina Art Center as an organization that meets community needs
- Demonstrate the ability to teach child and adult learners
- Demonstrate techniques and artistic skills to successfully teach classes
- Work as a part of a team of instructors and staff to support the arts in Edina and surrounding communities
Qualifications
Desired Qualifications:
- Previous teaching experience
