Meter Reader

The City of Lampasas is now accepting applications for the position of Meter Reader. Under supervision of the Finance Director, duties include, but are not limited to, electronic and hand-written reading of electric and water meters; changing out water and electric meters; door tagging; and connecting and disconnecting water and electric utility services.

High School Diploma or GED and a valid Class C Texas Drivers’ license is required. Applicant must hold or have the ability to obtain a Class D Water Operators license within a given time period. Experience is preferred.

Salary range is $15.26/hour to $21.37/ hour, DOQ, plus excellent benefits
