Kennel Attendant
The City of Leavenworth is seeking qualified, dedicated, and motivated individuals for the full-time position of Kennel Attendant. This important role involves providing humane treatment and care for animals, primarily domestic pets, housed at the Animal Control Shelter. Responsibilities include cleaning kennels, feeding and watering animals, monitoring animal behavior, and ensuring the overall health and well-being of the animals under care. The position also requires interaction with the public and assisting with animal adoptions, as well as maintaining accurate records of animal conditions and shelter activities.
Minimum Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age
- Must possess or be able to obtain within 90 days of employment a current, valid state driver’s license
- No felony convictions
- Must have a phone at residence for emergency contact
Salary : $32,353 annually, with an excellent benefits package.
