What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant- Part-Time position at The City of Millbrook?
Assists in the efficient operation of the Cultural Arts department. Performs duties related to
the operations at the Millbrook Art Mill, as well as duties regarding special events within the City of
Millbrook. This position will provide administrative support to program areas as well as perform routine
clerical and administrative functions.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Three years of experience in administration, events management, management of community programs or
services, or art-related programs.
Must have knowledge of basic bookkeeping, accounting and financial record keeping procedures. Some
knowledge of financial terminology and budget preparation is also required; ability to compute, classify,
and record numerical data to keep financial records complete. Perform any combination of routine
calculating, posting, and verifying duties to obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining
accounting records. May also check the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings pertaining to
business transactions recorded by other workers. May also perform a variety of analysis.
