What are the responsibilities and job description for the New Accounts Specialist I position at The City of Thomasville?
Assist customers with setting up utility accounts for both residential and commercial customers. Handle general inquiries in person, onver the phone or email. Ensure proper documents are submitted. Work closely with the Business Development team for all commercial accounts. Prepare and place orders for all utility connection. Projects a professional company image through telephone interactions. Dispatches or assists proper personnel in repairing problems quickly. Employee in this position receives moderate supervision from the New Accounts Supervisor.
Handles, with professionalism and enthusiasm, walk in customers, incoming customer calls and email interactions incoming customer calls regarding all aspects of initiating utility services.
Maintain customer privacy and protect customer?s confidential information.
Ensure resolution of customer questions, requests and complaints in a timely manner, striving to achieve 100% customer satisfaction.
Assist in sales of new services as they are developed and implemented.
Ensure superior customer service with all new accounts within the City of Thomasville utility footprint. fast-paced call center environment.
Cover reception area and keep customer traffic flowing smoothly.
Handle all administrative functions for the Csutomer Service department.including
Process all banner orders as they come in.
