The Administrative Coordinator will serve as the HR Liaison for the Office of Campus Planning and Facilities and will play a pivotal role in managing administrative tasks critical to maintaining operational efficiency.
This Includes But Is Not Limited To The Following
- Acts as a primary point of contact for HR related inquiries within the department
- Acts as a primary point of contact with Compliance and Diversity on search related matters
- Performs all administrative tasks for hiring, onboarding and offboarding employees
- Maintains and manages the prioritization of vacancies based on departmental needs and resources
- Coordinates and communicates updates on active list requirements for Civil Service titles
- Assists with time and leave inquiries within the Department and consult with HR to verify leave accrual and balances
- Assists with time and leave inquiries within the Department and consult with the Time-keepers in HR to verify leave accruals and balances
- Consults with benefits manager regarding any leave of absences or pending separations of employees, specifically keep tracks of duration of leave of absence
- In collaboration with the Office of Human Resources, coordinates opportunities for staff training and development
- Provides weekly completion and submission of punch detail reports and overtime sheets
Bachelor's Degree required.

- Manages basic office functions such as communications, meeting schedules, work plans, staff assignments, and distributing information.
- Collects data for, prepares, and distributes reports and presentations using word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
- Updates office databases, lists, and files to ensure completeness and accuracy; maintains current information on department web site(s); maintains department archives and collections.
- Conducts internet and/or database research and performs basic systems queries to locate information related to department activities.
- Maintains department fiscal plans and budgets; assists in budget administration and invoice processing.
- Provides basic information, instructions, and materials as requested by students, faculty, and others who contact the department.
- May supervise office staff and student workers.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
