POSITION DETAILS
The Cash Management Analyst will work in partnership with all CUNY colleges and entities as a liaison for the Office of the University Controller assisting with the collection disbursement and reconciliation of City University funds.

Working in the Department of Treasury Services for the Office of the University Controller, the responsibilities of the Cash Management Analyst are, but not limited to:

Qualifications
Minimum:
Bachelor's Degree required.
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Finance preferred
Minimum Of Six (6) Months Of Professional Experience
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, demanding and complex work environment, with the ability to carry out multiple assignments.
Detail oriented with excellent writing, analytical, evaluative, and organizational skills plus strong presentation, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Compensation And Benefits
The salary range is$51,781 - $62,689commensurate with qualifications, education and experience.
CUNY is in the process of implementing salary schedule increases. Once implemented, salaries of eligible employees will be adjusted by 6.09% with additional increases of 3.25% effective 9/1/2025 and 3.5% effective 9/1/26, in accordance with the terms of the PSC-CUNY collective bargaining agreement.

Working in the Department of Treasury Services for the Office of the University Controller, the responsibilities of the Cash Management Analyst are, but not limited to:
- MonitorandreviewalldailybankactivitiesforanyunusualchargestotheCUNYbankaccounts,recorddaily activity details in the Treasury Services system and evaluate all bank charges monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Reconciledailycashapplicationanddisbursements;managealloutstandingcheckstovendorsandrequests checks be voided as necessary to keep files current.
- Process Federal drawdown in G5 system base on request from SFA Operations
- Process cash transfer request to the colleges/departments in CUNYfirst Cash Management module.
- ReviewdocumentationsubmittedforpaymentstoensurecompliancewithallUniversitypoliciesandverify that the paperwork is accurate and complete; process payments to vendors by creating invoices and payments in the Treasury Services system and load positive pay files to the bank's online system for all checks generated.
- Performmonthlycashandinvestmentanalysistomonitorandmaximizeinterest/creditandearnings.
- Preparemonthlyreportsofreceivables,payablesandstatusreportsforallinvestmentandbankingactivities.
- Maintainrecordsforbankaccountsandrelatedactivities.
- AssisttheDirectorwithspecialprojectsandcontracts.
- AssistprocessingIncomeReimbursableFunddocumentsfromthecampusesincludingenteringdataintoan MS Access database, NYS and NYC systems and excel worksheets.
- Scanandsavealldocumentationpertinenttodepositsandpaymentsonthepublicserverdrive.
