This position involves facilitating academic exchanges, assisting with international scholar recruitment efforts, providing advising and support to scholars, and developing initiatives to promote scholar involvement and retention. Reporting to the Director of The Roosevelt House Public Policy Institute, the International Student Specialist (HEOa) for the International Scholar Program is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Bachelor's degree and four years' related experience required.

Salary commensurate with education and experience, within approved range: $68,004-$86,665.

Reporting to the Director of The Roosevelt House Public Policy Institute, the International Student Specialist (HEOa) for the International Scholar Program is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with academic departments, institutional partners, and other stakeholders to enhance program offerings and promote international collaboration.
- Recommend, review, and serve as a resource expert on program policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure a smooth and effective experience for international scholars.
- Collaborate with legal and regulatory entities to ensure compliance with visa, immigration, and legal policies affecting international scholars, providing accurate support with documentation and staying informed on relevant regulations and international education trends.
- Track and monitor scholar enrollment, progress, and participation; maintain accurate records of program milestones and feedback for reporting purposes.
- Evaluate program effectiveness through data analysis and recommend improvements to enhance scholar satisfaction and program outcomes.
- Organize and coordinate various program events, including orientations, social activities, professional development workshops, and travel arrangements—ensuring seamless logistics and positive interactions.
- Supervise daily program operations, ensuring activities align with institutional goals and cultivate an inclusive, supportive environment for international scholars.

- Works with campus departments on programs which promote the success of international students

- Monitors compliance activities at the campus (e.g., visas, SEVIS and other reports) and stays current on regulations and other developments
- Performs related duties as assigned.
