Certified Nursing Assistant Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists residents in their activities of daily living tasks as needed and directed.
- Responds to resident needs promptly, while maintaining each resident’s self-respect, dignity, safety and confidentiality.
- Documents actions by completing forms, logs, and reports.
- Uses universal precautions and follows established policies and procedures.
- Maintains a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests.
- Encourages teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in training and educational opportunities.
