The Staffing Coordinator supports the Wellness Director in maintaining high standards of resident care and staff development. This role assists in training, policy interpretation, and implementation of best practices in resident care. Organizational Structure:
Assist in the execution of policies and procedures related to resident care, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Oversee scheduling for Certified Nurse Aids, Certified Medication Aide and Personal Service Assistant; to ensure adequate staffing levels and adherence to budgeted hours. Obtain approval from the DOW for any overtime hours before scheduling.
Participates in on call rotation as assigned. Supervise and support care staff in delivering high- quality resident services, including coordinating care provided by external healthcare providers.
Assists with the orientation and training of care staff, including conducting competency checks and ensuring annual training requirements are met. Provide ongoing coaching and support to foster a positive work environment.
Fills in, as needed, for Certified Medication Aide/Certified Nursing Aide direct care.
Manages nursing supply inventory. Assists with ordering supplies as directed by DOW.
Ensure timely completion of monthly weights and vital checks for residents. Report results to the DOW for review and follow-up.
Complete all necessary documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy regulations for both resident and team member information. Assists with coordinating work assignments for care staff Uphold a professional demeanor in interactions with residents, families, staff, and the public. Serve as a role model in promoting the company's mission and values. Attend daily stand-up meetings and contribute to the discussion on resident care and staffing needs. Collaborate with the management team to ensure quality and consistency in service delivery.
Must have current Certified Medication Aide Certification with the State of Georgia
