The Clark-Ito Group, Inc., Global Executive Recruitment, has been retained by our premier client to fill a critical human resources role located in the area of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The Human Resources Director is responsible for providing leadership and direction to all areas of Human Resources, including corporate HR support, Benefits, Compensation, Employee Relations, Workers Compensation, Payroll Compliance, Safety, Performance Management and Organizational Development, as well as executing the strategic direction and functional integration of HR initiatives throughout the entire organization. The Director will work closely with HR leadership to influence and drive employee behavior and outcomes, modeling behaviors and best practices which promote a positive workplace, drive business results, and demonstrate excellent customer service.
• Partners with the SVP & Head of Global Human Resources to promote performance excellence and to ensure human resources programs, services, and processes align with HR’s mission, vision, values, and strategic plan.
• Partners with the SVP & Head of Global Human Resources to create a department that provides value-added support and services to the organization.
• Partners with the SVP & Head of Global Human Resources to manage human resource financial strategies by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating requirements, trends, and variances; aligning monetary resources; developing action plans; measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances.
• Executes human resources strategies focused on workforce planning by integrating talent management and other benefits to attract and retain a high-quality, engaged, and diverse workforce.
• Develop and implement departmental strategies using information collected from identified and researched human resource concerns/issues and established benchmark data regarding HR services/functions.
• Direct the development and, as appropriate, the implementation and administration of programs and services designed to ensure the most effective utilization of Human Resources as well as accurately forecasting the workforce requirements.
• Designs and implements reliable and effective communication (including feedback) systems that will strengthen and improve HR’s image regarding customer services, responsiveness, efficiency, staff stability, and competency, establishing credibility for all HR service areas. Recruitment transformation is a critical first-year priority.
• Directs compensation, benefits, employee recognition, training, and development programs. Responsible for compliant records management, employee relations, HRIS, and other HR services.
• Manages a team of engaging HR employees by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, mentoring, counseling, disciplining, and retaining a competent staff who optimize human resources processes and fosters a healthy work environment.
• Serves as a trusted advisor to SVP & Head of Global Human Resources. Fosters collaboration and alignment across the global HR team to achieve departmental and organizational success.
Qualifications / Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or a related field; Master’s degree strongly preferred; Experience with continuous process improvement methodologies
• Minimum 7 years of progressive HR experience in multi-state environment, SHRM or other HR certification required. Global HR experience a plus.
Location: North Fort Lauderdale (area), Florida
Salary: 130k - 150k plus bonus
**Hybrid work arrangement (must be in onsite three days per week)
