75-Mile Straight Line Radius Rule (not driving distance) - No Local Travelers

- License Requirements: Only candidates with an active NM or compact license will be considered.
- Time Off: Time off requests must be disclosed with the initial submission to be considered for approval. Requests made after the acceptance date will not be approved.
- Submission Requirements: Include at least two references (one must be from the current manager), a resume, and a completed skills checklist/competency assessment.
Assignment Details:
- Duration: 13 weeks.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ current experience in an 18 bed telemetry/progressive care unit.
- Skills: Must be flexible, a team player, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment. Must have completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
Certifications:
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
- BLS and ACLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
- EPIC EMR experience preferred.
- Traveler must provide or pass a Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia/Dysrhythmia Assessment (BCA) exam prior to or during the first week of the assignment. Failure to pass the BCA will result in dismissal.
Shifts:
- 12-hour day shift, starting at 7:00 AM.
- 4 weekend shifts within a 4-week period. Shifts may fluctuate based on department staffing needs.
- On-call, weekends, and holidays may be required.
- Travelers are expected to float within the facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of the assigned location, including the ED and alternate holding areas, to care for appropriate patients.
Orientation:
- 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.
Scrubs:
- For RNs ONLY (does not apply to OR staff as those are provided): RNs may wear any solid color. The scrub top, pants, and jacket (if worn) must match the same solid color.
Traveler Requirements and Policies:
- Holiday RTO: NO holiday RTO will be approved for travelers (updated 10.10.2024).
- Eligibility: Travelers must not have been employed by the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for at least 12 months from their last day of employment to be considered for a travel position.
- Floating Requirements: Travelers are the first to float within the facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of the permanent assigned location.

Pay: $65.00 - $68.00 per hour
