PM RA Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY:

The PM RA Coordinator is responsible for supervising the PM shift, help adequately staffing and making the schedule is filled to resident’s safety, personal cares and needs are being met. The PM RA Coordinator position would primarily be Monday-Friday with an occasional weekend rotation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Supervise the PM shift

· Work on the floor 5-9pm

· Create the Resident Assistant schedule to assure building is staffed 24 hours a day/365 day a year on the PM and NOC shifts

· Monitor overtime on the PM shift

· Ensure PM shift charting is done fully and correctly

· Run individual charting audits daily

· Send people home early when all task has been completed

· Assist with trainings of new Resident Assistants on the PM shift

· Be available for staff, residents and families to ask questions

· Initiate and complete employee call-in forms with call-ins for the PM shift

· Adjust RA schedules to meet the needs of the residents

· Help ensure annual employee trainings are up to date

· Ensure Staff are wearing appropriate PPE

· Monitor MARs being signed off properly

· Ensure all staff are taking meal breaks

· Facilitating positive and appropriate communication between staff, residents and families

· Ensuring accuracy and completion of incident reports

· Prepare paperwork for any emergency transports

· Complete Resident Assistants'' performance reviews

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Previous supervisory experience

· CNA certification or Resident Assistant experience

· Medication management preferred (can be obtained when hired)

· Must be able to prioritize and organize work effectively and efficiently

· Work well, both individually and as part of a team, through respect and collaboration

· At least one year of experience working with the senior population

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Demonstrate good interpersonal skills

· Must be punctual, flexible and adaptable to changing situations, able to work irregular hours

· Maintains confidential information (HIPAA)

· Demonstrates creative thinking skill
