POSITION DESCRIPTION

Work Year : 260 Day Calendar Year
Hours : Monday through Friday 8 AM to 4 PM
Salary : $65,000 - $80,000
- depending upon previous relevant experience. Actual starting pay rate will be determined after a review of the work experience provided on the job application and resume.
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES :
Responsible for the deployment, upkeep, maintenance, and training for all client-server hardware, network, user accounts and applications in support of the academic, operational, and business functions of TCA.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP :
Reports to the Technology Director

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
Performs activities associated with deployment, configuration, and upgrade / patching of TCA servers, network equipment, and network services.Performs activities associated with OS and application deployment, configuration and upgrades of end user devices and client-server applications.Manage and support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.Implement, monitor, and maintain Microsoft Azure solutions, including major services related to compute, storage, network, and securityAdminister the creation, operation, modification, deletion, licensing of user accounts and systems access for students, staff, and administrators where applicableCoordinate with TCA Technology Director, Academy School District20 information security personnel and third party vendors to implement and deliver tools to guard against internal or external threats to data security and integrityEnsure compliance with district and state requirements concerning the capture, uplink and reporting of dataAssists school staff with TCA's student information system to include activities to install, update, maintain, and troubleshoot / resolve issuesAssists with the support, coordination, and transfer of information between disparate school databases and assists with resolving access and integration issues with all school related dataCoordinate with external service providers and host(s) to provide project deliverables and resolve issues related to integration of third-party products and services.Accomplishes system backups for all servers at designated periodic intervalsImplement and maintain security policies and compliance measures.Carries and responds to a mobile communication device for the purpose of conducting school related business both during and after normal business hoursMARGINAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
Attends ongoing training and meetings as required in order to remain up to date on network policy, procedure, and performanceParticipate in school level Educational Technology and Information Literacy (ET / IL) meetings.Perform other duties as requiredMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
EDUCATION :
Bachelor's degree in System Administration, Computer Science, or Information Technology required
EXPERIENCE :
Information technology background, preferably in a K-12 educational setting. AzureAD, M365 Admin experience a plus
