We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in pool maintenance and repair. As a Pool Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients' pools are clean, safe, and functioning optimally. This role requires proficiency with various tools and equipment, as well as a commitment to providing excellent service.
Duties
- Perform routine pool cleaning and maintenance tasks, including skimming, vacuuming, and brushing pool surfaces.
- Conduct regular inspections of pool equipment to identify any issues or necessary repairs.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for equipment repair and maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed on each pool, including water quality testing results and chemical balancing.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues related to pool systems and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Communicate with clients regarding their pool maintenance needs and provide recommendations for improvements or repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards while performing all tasks.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician or in a similar role related to pool maintenance.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely.
- Familiarity with equipment repair techniques specific to pool systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients.
- A valid driver's license is preferred.
