Local cleaning company is looking for a carpet cleaner/experienced driver to handle carpet cleaning and trash and recycling collection. Past certification or knowledge of carpet cleaning a plus, but will train. Carpet cleaning is seasonal and the candidate will switch over to trash collection for winter months, November to April.
Responsibilities for the carpet cleaner include:
- Review carpet cleaning tasks for each job
- Properly manage carpet cleaning equipment.
- Ensure a safe working environment
- Correctly handle cleaning chemicals.
- Wear appropriate carpet cleaning uniforms
- Manage and review cleaning supplies needed for each job
- Carefully remove furniture from carpets.
- Work effectively not to damage the client’s property.
- Provide safe precautions to customers
- Properly clean up after every carpet cleaning task.
- Ensure all equipment and chemicals are in your possession
Responsibilities for the route driver include:
- Operate trash/recycle trucks in a safe manner.
- Conduct all activities according to the collection schedule and all relevant company policies and procedures.
- Interact with customers and members of the public in a courteous and respectful manner.
- Ability to read, write, and use a computer tablet to maintain daily records.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
