What are the responsibilities and job description for the Analyst, Risk Office Chief of Staff position at The Clearing House?
Position Summary : The Risk Office Chief of Staff (CoS) Analyst is responsible for helping to ensure TCH effectively addresses all regulatory inquiries, regulatory meeting coordination and applicable committee material compilation. The role will assist the VP CoS / Regulatory Affairs with the execution of applicable regulatory follow up requests, notes from regulatory meetings, execution of regulatory exams and reviews along with the solicitation and compilation of various committee material. The role contributes toward the ongoing improvement of TCH’s risk management and regulatory practices. The Analyst must develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders throughout the organization, including Information Security, Legal, Enterprise Risk Management, Technology and Operations, other business functions as well as with external entities such as regulatory supervisors as needed.
Qualifications Required :
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Experience in working in the financial services industry or other highly regulated industry
- Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment
- Strong analytical, technical and PC skills, e.g., Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Demonstrate good judgment

Essential Functions & Responsibilities :
Physical demands and work environment : Work is generally sedentary in nature. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available. Travel may be required. Employees will report to the office two to three days each week. Onsite work requirements may change at any time.
