Position Summary: The Clearing House (TCH) is a banking association and payments company that is owned by the largest commercial banks. TCH owns and operates core payments system infrastructure in the United States and is currently working to modernize that infrastructure by launching a new, ubiquitous, real-time payment system. It is the only private-sector ACH and wire operator in the United States, clearing and settling nearly $2 trillion in U.S. dollar payments each day, representing half of all commercial ACH and wire volume.
The Enterprise Strategic Program Management (SPM) group is a centralized function within the Strategy organization responsible for the program management and governance of enterprise level strategic initiatives. Team’s goal is to be responsive to the needs of the firm as directed by the Leadership team, delivering against the firm’s top initiatives and strategic imperatives. Team ensures that programs are managed in a consistent, methodical and programmatic fashion by a central team of program managers. This companywide function will enable our staff, the leadership team, our clients, and our governance bodies to stay connected, understand roles and responsibilities, and prioritize and drive further discipline for our enterprise-level strategic programs that continue to transform The Clearing House.
Analyst, Strategic Program Management group will report to SVP, Strategic Program Management and will play a key role in delivery of multiple strategic programs.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
We are seeking an entry level analyst to help execute enterprise level strategic programs that are critical to company’s transformation and success. Ideal candidate will bring rigor, discipline, attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Create project plans and other documentation and ensure they are up-to-date
- Identify & independently obtain useful program data, and create unique reports for decision support and management reporting
- Communicate effectively across different departments and amongst varying levels of seniority within the organization, capturing key actions and decisions
- Support program and project decision- making processes by creating information and data for various committees and leadership meetings
- Ascertain and manage project risks and issues proactively including escalating them in time
- Develop metrics and KPIs to measure and track progress and complete project timely meeting success criteria
- Support the team to develop program management standards and processes and champion to establish best practices across TCH
- Analyze and synthesize project information to ensure alignment and compliance with Strategic Program Management (SPM) standards and overall strategy
- Manage the capture and completion of meeting action items and follow-ups through stakeholder engagement and/or scheduling
- Analyze product volume program data or other relevant data to inform business and strategy decisions
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management or a related field
- 1-3 years experience in financial services and/or project/program management
- Highly Proficient in Excel
- Highly Proficient in PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical, and statistical skills
- Ability to independently recognize trends and provide relevant solutions
- Charting and modeling experience to augment presentment of analytical options
- Detail oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Qualifications desired:
- Degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field
- Experience with operations, banking or technology
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project
- Experience documenting operational processes
- Experience in project, product, or program management
Physical demands and work environment: Work is generally sedentary in nature. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available. Travel may be required.
Employees will report to the office two to three days each week. Onsite work requirements may change at any time.
The anticipated annual salary range for NY-based candidates for this position is $95,000 - $110,000. Base salary and position level will be determined by the role, experience, skill set and location. For eligible positions, discretionary incentive compensation may be awarded contingent on personal and company performance.
