POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Engineer Intern to support our manufacturing team with critical projects focused on time studies and line balancing. The intern will work closely with engineering and production teams to analyze and optimize production processes, aiming to improve efficiency and productivity.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Conduct Time Studies: Measure and document cycle times, work elements, and production processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze Workflow: Assess current workstations and workflows to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
- Line Balancing: Assist in developing balanced work assignments across production lines to ensure optimal use of resources and minimize idle time.
- Report Findings: Prepare and present findings and suggestions to management in a clear and concise manner.
- Support Process Improvement Initiatives: Contribute to continuous improvement projects by applying lean manufacturing principles and best practices.

Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Must be a Junior or above in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
Computer Skills: Microsoft office tools such as Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, AutoCAD, CAD/CAM.
