POSITION SUMMARY
We are searching for a skilled HVAC Sales Engineer to call on and support national contractors (General and Mechanical Contractors). In this role, you will act as the senior representative for the company and partner with our national clients, internal and external sales teams, and our product teams to expand our market opportunities, design build projects, and grow sales.
To ensure success, you should be a self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills, extensive HVAC product knowledge, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams. In addition, the successful candidate will bring skills as a negotiator, problem solver, and thought leader.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Develop strong relationships with National Contractors (Mechanical and General Contractors) and our manufacturer representatives
- Ability to travel 50% to provide on-site support, product training, and problem resolution
- Participate in HVAC trade shows, industry meetings, presentations and educational seminars as required
- Support contractors in the proper selection, application, design, and installation of CCGs products including start-up and commissioning procedures
- Work with senior management to lead the creation of a National Strategy around National Contractors and CCG product solutions and systems
- Work with senior management and product management to identify new products and features that can expand sales to new and existing customers within the channel
- Collaborate and support our Manufacturers Representatives
- Support regional sales management and our brand teams, provide awareness and updates on new upcoming projects, and coordinate joint sales strategies to grow our sales and increase our manufacturer representatives’ win rate.
- Develop a thorough knowledge of our companies’ products, competitors and competitor’s products, system applications, selection and ordering programs, and promotional tools
- Coach outside and inside teams, along with engineering and customer service to ensure a superior customer experience

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant experience
Experience:
- 10 years of outside sales experience within the HVAC industry, preferably with a strong background in geothermal heat pumps, custom AHUs, chillers, and fan coil units.
- Commercial HVAC contractor experience preferred
Computer Skills:
- Proficient with MS Office
- Highly capable in the use of spreadsheets, business reports and construction data search applications
- Strong CRM skills
