MRI TECHNOLOGIST PER DIEM

Job Summary: The MRI Technologist performs MRI exams and procedures under supervision, ensuring patient care, safety, and compliance with protocols. Responsibilities include patient education, record maintenance, and magnetic field safety enforcement.

Specific Responsibilities

• Conduct MR imaging procedures as per radiologist protocols.
• Complete patient screening and obtain consent.
• Administer contrast agents and ensure timely documentation in PACS.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain equipment.
• Participate in meetings and comply with policies.
  
  

Required Education & Experience

• High school diploma and certified radiology technologist program completion.
• Current ARRT MRI certification and BLS required.
• Minimum 2 years MRI clinical experience preferred.
