The Cardiac Center provides comprehensive care for infants, children, and adolescents with cardiac, thoracic, and vascular diseases.
Essential Responsibilities
- Assess and document patient needs and problems.
- Formulate and implement nursing care plans.
- Develop realistic goals based on patient/family needs.
- Evaluate responses to care and modify plans as needed.
- Assist in discharge planning and advocate for patients and families.
- Provide safe nursing care adhering to standards.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred.
- Experience in pediatric/cardiac or critical care nursing preferred.
- Current or eligible for Delaware State Board of Nursing registration.
- American Heart Association BLS required.
