Requirements:

  • Graduate of a nursing program
  • 1 exp with supervisor exp required
  • Current License in the State of Oregon as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Charge Nurse to join our healthcare team. The Charge Nurse will play a pivotal role in overseeing patient care, managing nursing staff, and ensuring the highest standards of medical practice within our facility. This position requires strong leadership abilities, clinical expertise, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate nursing staff activities to ensure efficient patient care delivery.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and IV infusions as per physician orders while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Oversee case management processes, ensuring effective communication among healthcare providers and patients.
  • Implement infection control measures to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Provide guidance and support to nursing staff in handling complex patient cases, including those with disabilities.
  • Facilitate the smooth operation of the unit by managing patient flow and addressing any issues that arise during shifts.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in an Ambulatory Surgery Center or Level I Trauma Center setting to optimize patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Valid nursing license with relevant certifications.
  • Proven experience in medication administration and IV infusion techniques.
  • Familiarity with case management practices and infection control protocols.
  • Experience administering injections safely and effectively.
  • Strong clinical skills in a medical office or similar healthcare environment.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a compassionate approach to patient care.
