Summary :
Assumes shift responsibility and accountability for the planning and provision of direct and indirect nursing care to the patient, family, care partner and appropriate others. Coordinates multi-disciplinary team members, directs and facilitates nursing staff in obtaining safe, optimal health care outcomes. Supports activities that meet the facility vision, mission and goals. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. Oversees and guides employees that are under his|her supervision. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times
This position is only for full time NIGHT shift
Education : BSN required.
Experience :
Minimum 3 years experience as a NICU RN
Must have at least 2 years progressive supervisory experience in NICU
Certifications | Licensure :
Must have or be able to be licensed in Nevada.
Special Skills :
Must be able to work under deadlines.
Must be able to utilize independent decision-making skills in a wide variety of situations.
Requires a high degree of accuracy in the performance of varied responsibilities.
Personal computer skills required.
Frequent contact with employees, physicians, customers, community individuals and volunteers.
Must be self-motivated to complete work in a timely manner to meet deadlines.
