Your role at Clorox:
The role of Buyer II involves procuring logistics services to support multiple business units. This encompasses various modes, including LTL/Parcel, while also covering all modes in Canada. Responsibilities include negotiation and contracting, supplier relationship management, category strategies, stakeholder engagement, cost savings, and driving supplier performance.
The Buyer II collaborates cross-functionally with the Logistics Operations Teams and other stakeholders, impacting various transportation modes, warehousing, e-commerce, and customer service. Additionally, they are responsible for maintaining up-to-date contracts and documents in Apttus and Box folders to ensure compliance. The Buyer II also plays a crucial role in process development and documentation.

In this role, you will:
- Manage and lead sourcing activities including sourcing events, and supplier management of assigned categories.
- Identify and lead cost savings initiatives across SBU’s or functions
- Develop and Drive high-performing cross-functional relationships. Work with peers to influence and contribute to category sourcing strategy. Work with peers and Manager to support overall Logistics Sourcing and Business Award Strategy
- Manage cost savings through PPM and fully utilize Apptus to contract management
- Drive supplier performance through KPI implementation and supplier scorecards
- 3 years of Supply Chain / CPG experience. Excellent analytical skills. Procurement and Logistics experience is a highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Science, Engineering or Supply Chain/Logistics
- Experience in Project Management, detail and process oriented, excellent verbal and written communication skills and listening skills, strong analytical, organizational and negotiating skills.
- Experience with using Apptus is highly preferred.
- Ability to influence stakeholders.
- Adaptability and prioritization to handle numerous competing priorities at the same time. Some travel may be required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
