We are seeking highly motivated CAS Manager to join our Kroger Sales Team. The individual will develop process, plans and capabilities to guide strategy that leads to category growth for Clorox and Kroger.Interested but only meet some of the requirements listed? In this role, you will:
The CAS Manager will be a driver of category insights for our Kroger sales team. This will require developing creative ways to answer questions in a data-rich environment. We are seeking a resourceful person that can proactively turn insights from multiple sources into actionable results at retail.
This person should be skilled at working in a heavily matrixed environment, capable of influencing leaders both internally and externally, and have comfort in proactively bringing solutions to their teams.
Leveraging data and insights is key to driving this growth and the CAS Manager position on the Kroger team focuses on putting the customer first in our decision making processes.
Category Leadership Accelerator (CLA) is a team that represents a transformation of Shopper Insights, Shopper Marketing, Category Leadership, and Space Engineering resources to support Sales plans for the enterprise, national, and regional customers across the Clorox portfolio. With this approach, our goals are to build best-in-class capabilities, develop deep functional expertise, and offer focused programs to drive growth with our customers. The program will help Clorox provide our customers cutting edge data and insights, as well as, personalized solutions to drive incremental growth for both our customers and Clorox.
This role will help partner to develop Strategy and Business Intelligence support on the Clorox Category Leadership team across Cleaning, Laundry and Trash portfolios. The primary objectives of this role are to drive accelerated growth, market share gains for the customer as well as our brands, and elevated customer partnership via Shopper/Customer Insights.
Key responsibilities include providing shopper and consumer insights support for Kroger and Clorox Joint Business Planning, Internal Initiatives and for discovering new opportunities to drive future business growth.
Role will report to Category Team Lead for Kroger which will than role up to the Clorox Leading Edge Retailer (LER) group
What we look for:
- 5 years of CPG experience
- Proficiency in shopper data and analytics
- Preferred experience in Space Planning tools (JDA)
- Preferred experience with IRI/Nielsen syndicated/panel data
- Preferred experience with Kroger’s Market6 data, 84.51 data and the KOMPASS process
- Well versed in Microsoft suite of products, Excel/PowerPoint
- Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to multi-task
- Strong project management skills
- Creativity and strategy skills
- Business relationship management
- Strong organization and communication skills both verbal and written
Job Responsibilities:
- Work across a variety of teams to help lead Clorox and Kroger Charcoal, Water Filtration and Facial care big bets that will drive growth for both parties
- Stay up to date on industry trends and competitive activity to identify opportunities to improve capabilities/advantage in the market
- Provide "Shopper First" Insights and Solutions that drive category growth, market share expansion and financial plan success
- Strategic planning, post promo analysis (PPA), category assessment, market analysis and scorecarding
- Improve shelf position for brands while maintaining a shopper/category first approach
- Be an expert on Category Leadership tools and capabilities
- Master customer loyalty card data
- Lead category strategy and review meetings with customers; assist brand-based, Category Leadership programs
- Develop strong working relationships with external Category Manager/Merchants
- Perform other duties as necessary

This role is open to remote work for qualified and eligible experienced candidates. If you are within a 50 mile radius of a Clorox Hub you will be in office 3x per week abiding by the Hybrid 2.0 policy.

Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.
–Zone A: $104,100 - $199,100
–Zone B: $95,500 - $183,300
–Zone C: $86,800 - $166,600
