Your role at Clorox:
The Clorox Company is seeking a qualified candidate for the Warehouse/Distribution area at our Aberdeen, MD facility. This facility uses automated packaging equipment and utilities to manufacture and distribute Clorox Liquid Bleach products. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality products to our customers efficiently and safely. As a logistics associate, you will play a crucial role in our day-to-day operations, focusing on materials movement, palletizer operations, and product storage. Our main purpose is to provide on-time shipments of high-quality products to meet customer needs safely and efficiently, minimizing costs. Your efforts will directly contribute to meeting our department and business objectives. You will receive general direction from the Team Lead and Team Coordinator, ensuring that all tasks are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with our high standards.Rotational Shifts: (1st, 2nd, 3rd) Candidate may need to be available on a rotational shift our hours include 1st shift: (7am – 3:30pm,) 2nd shift: (3pm – 11:30pm), 3rd shift: (11pm – 7:30am). Flexibility with overtime on a as business emerge needs arise.
Hourly rate: $24.43. Candidate must satisfactorily complete the employment application with attached resume, as well as complete a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.

In this role, you will:
- Performs daily inspections of electric powered forklift using correct documentation, and proficient with several types of forklift attachments, such as a slip-sheet unit, double-forks, and clamp truck.
- Support production with stage to stock and stock to stage for all packaging materials. Load and unload all loads of finished goods and raw materials, as assigned. Moving and positioning finished products or materials from the Palletizer into trucks or the warehouse.
- Perform all necessary safety checks related to trailer loading and dock locking systems. Maintain warehouse housekeeping standards.
- Perform assigned duties that fall within the scope of this job as defined by the Team Manager.
- Comply with all customer service requirements.
- Properly fill-out documentation associated with unloading and loading practices within the department with minimal supervision.
- Understands and adheres to Regulatory compliance with OSHA & DOT standards, ensures WPO and housekeeping standards are sustained.
- Understand complex loading practices and maintain weight distribution for all types of carrier equipment.
- Understand warehouse layout and capacity constraint.
What we look for:
- High school diploma (or equivalent experience) required.
- Resume required.
- Preferably 2 years of prior experience in a manufacturing/distribution environment, with forklift and/or distribution/logistics.
- Able to demonstrate Forklift Operator capabilities.
- Able to follow established procedures and protocols, compliance with OSHA & DOT standards.
- Strong dedication to plant’s non-negotiable and company’s core values.
- Be willing to work flexible hours and overtime as needed according to business needs. Workdays and schedules may change periodically for training purposes and must be able to work off shift and weekends.
- Basic Math, reading, and writing comprehension skills are required.
