The Materials and Scheduling Management (MSM) Leader will play a critical role in driving business results and improving end-to-end supply chain processes at our Clorox Atlanta West manufacturing facility. This leader will collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan materials, manage production schedules, and optimize working capital.
About the Role
This leader will oversee the following key responsibilities:
- Production scheduling management: collaborating with planning, material coordination, operations managers, and logistics teams to create production schedules and perform SAP master data maintenance
- Materials management: planning materials in support of site manufacturing operations, supporting effective material management analysis, and optimizing working capital
- Supplier engagement: collaborating with site quality manager to identify material quality issues and escalate as necessary to determine root cause and aid in implementation of fix
Key Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Knowledge of supply chain planning principles and interactions between production planning, demand planning, and material planning
- Ability to react quickly to material/supplier-related issues and challenges
- Ability to execute root cause analysis and put sustainable controls in place
- Ability to provide effective leadership, coaching, and support to assigned personnel
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and manage a team when needed
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a supply chain planning or manufacturing role, preferably in CPG/FMCG industries
