Job Summary
The Post Closer/Warehouser is responsible for reviewing, processing, and organizing closing documents after a real estate transaction is completed. This role ensures compliance with lender and title requirements, maintains accurate records, and supports internal teams with post-closing tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Review closing packages for completeness and accuracy before submission.
- Process and ship final title policies, recorded documents, and post-closing files to lenders and county offices.
- Track and follow up on outstanding documents, title policies, and lender requirements.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and lender guidelines for all post-closing files.
- Manage file storage (both physical and electronic) for easy retrieval.
- Assist with reconciliation of disbursements and wire confirmations.
- Support the team with administrative and warehousing duties as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
✔ Experience: 1-2 years of post-closing, warehousing, or title insurance experience preferred.
✔ Attention to Detail: Strong ability to review documents for accuracy and compliance.
✔ Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and track outstanding items.
✔ Technical Skills: Familiarity with title software (SoftPro, Resware, Qualia, or similar) is a plus.
✔ Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for internal and external coordination.
✔ Work Ethic: Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
