Job Summary: A successful Sales Associate fulfills their responsibilities such as assisting customers, merchandising the sales floor, and ensuring the store is clean all while maintaining a positive and friendly disposition. When the Sales Associate works cohesively with other team members and the Store Manager, the Clothes Rack raises funds that are then reinvested in the Richmond community.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION
Clothes Rack Operations
- Greet all customers as they enter the store
- Operate the Point of Sale system to process customer purchases
- Offers Loyalty Program to customers by explaining all the benefits
- Assist in merchandising procedures including proper placement and cleaning
- Stage merchandise for the sales floor and accept donations for processing
- Deliver exceptional customer service through personal contact with customers, offering assistance as they browse and answering all questions
- Empty fitting rooms and ensure items are priced and returned to correct racks
- Ensure sales floor is clean and free from items and hangers on the floor
- Adhere to all standard operating procedures and policies
- Perform store maintenance including, but not limited to, taking out garbage, vacuuming, dust mopping, cleaning bathrooms and counters
- Other tasks as requested by management

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
