Key Responsibilities
- Merchandise Processing:
- Unpack, hang, steam, and tag new stock to prepare it for the sales floor.
- Ensure all items are correctly labeled and barcoded for inventory tracking.
- Stockroom Organization:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient stockroom by categorizing and sorting products appropriately.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies or damages to the supervisor.
- Replenishment:
- Regularly replenish stock on the sales floor, ensuring that merchandise is always available and neatly displayed.
- Assist with merchandising and arranging products on the sales floor as needed.
- Customer Support:
- Assist the sales team in locating and retrieving items from the stockroom as requested.
- Ensure a seamless transition of stock between the stockroom and sales floor.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other team members to ensure timely product turnover and replenishment.
- Follow all company procedures and policies for handling merchandise and maintaining inventory.
- Prior experience in a retail or stockroom environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift and carry merchandise up to 30 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Team-oriented with excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
