Duties and Responsibilities
- To spread hospitality and goodwill amongst all members and guests
- To promote the game of golf at The Club at Las Campanas
- To assist members and guests at all times and with all requests
- Perform duties in accordance with the policies and procedures as outlined by the Director of Golf, Head Professional, and Assistant Professionals
- Exceed member expectation with customer service
- Understand and administer the club rules and policies
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Help Run Women’s/Men’s/Member Guests Days
- Assist with Junior Golf Program
- Assist with Tournament Operations
- Help with purchasing, receiving, and invoicing
- Assist in the merchandising of the Golf Shop including inventory levels and cleanliness
- Answer the phone politely while taking accurate messages
- Assist in the daily operations of the golf program including greeting members and guests and monitoring play on the golf course to ensure proper pace of play
- Provide top level instruction to members and guests
- Play golf with the membership as scheduled and work on your personal game as time permits
- Minor club repair
Standards
- To maintain a neat and clean appearance at all times. Golf slacks and shirts must be pressed at all times
- Conduct yourself in a professional manner and treat co-workers with respect on a daily basis
- Attend all staff meetings when requested
- Encouraged to provide new and fresh ideas
- To have the desire to grow professionally
Compensation and Benefits
Start/End Date: May through September – negotiable and flexible around
interns School Schedule. We ask that you can be here for
at least 60 days since we provide free housing.
Compensation: Hourly rate plus overtime if intern works more than 40
hours a week. Paid time and a half for Club Holidays
