What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laundry Attendant position at The Club at Las Campana?
Scope:
The Laundry attendant ensures clean linens are available for members and employees in the spa and supports other department’s laundry requirements as directed and ensures a clean sanitary environment is maintained throughout the Fitness Center.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Laundry duties include washing, drying, and folding towels and robes, and storing in appropriate areas.
- Laundry, storing, and stocking sandals by appropriate size in designated areas.
- Picking up used towels and re-stock linens in gym, lockers rooms, restrooms, indoor and outdoor pool areas, Activity Center, and Massage areas in the Club’s Men’s and Women’s Locker Rooms.
- Keeps gym, locker rooms, restrooms, indoor and outdoor pool areas, stocked with clean linens.
- Supporting Pool and Laundry Attendant for daily cleaning of the gym:
- Wipes and sanitizes fitness equipment including bikes, ellipticals, weight machines, and disinfect handles, dash, screens. Kettlebells, hand weights, rollers, and inflatable balls.
- Re-fills shower, bathroom, and locker room amenities.
- Reports on maintenance needs and ensure safe and optimal operation of all equipment.
- Morning and evening shifts relocate bikes in preparation for scheduled spin classes.
- Morning shift removes pool lanes on 3 Splash Class days and returns lanes after the class.
- Closing shift stocks linens, robes, and sandals for the following day and re-fills amenity containers, clean lint out of dryers, empty trash, load wash, and organize laundry area for opening shift for the next day.
Note: Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

Qualifications:
Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred
Certification and/or License Requirement:

Previous experience preferred in a spa.

Ability to lift 25 lbs
Working Conditions:
Mostly indoors and does require outdoor activities
