Scope:
The Racquet Sports Facility Attendant is responsible for the daily operations. This position ensures a safe, welcoming, and efficient environment for members, guests, and staff. The Racquet Sports Facility Attendant is responsible for daily maintenance of courts and areas adjacent to courts as well as maintaining and repairing tennis maintenance machines and equipment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Ensure the facility, including courts, shaded member areas, tennis casita, landscaping and restrooms are clean, well-maintained, compliant with safety standards and aesthetically pleasing to the members.
- Oversee the repair and maintenance of equipment such as nets, windscreens, ball machines, furniture, and all court surfaces.
- Manage inventory and stock for all member amenities including water, cups, snacks, towels, sunscreen, and all other condiments and supplies.
- Responsible for cleaning employee gym 3 times per week
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment with all LC staff.
- Anticipate and prepare the facility for member needs in addition to the regular court maintenance and daily operations.
- Communicate with Director of Racquet Sports to address potential issues and safety hazards proactively.
- Oversee and schedule regular court maintenance and repairs with Director of Racquet Sports to ensure efficient court usage with minimal downtime.
- Water, roll, drag surface and sweep lines of clay courts
- Blow debris and dust from surface of hard courts
- Keep court tapes, nets, fences, and gates in good condition
- Blow sidewalks; empty trash from court and facility receptacles
- Replenishes supplies such as ice, towels, and cups
- Cleans court drainage gutters, drains, and catch basins; installs, removes and repairs court wind screens
- Perform any additional tasks needed to keep tennis courts and surrounding areas in good order
- Perform other appropriates tasks assigned by the Director of Racquet Sports

Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Highschool diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible hours, including event weekends, as required
Skills & Attributes:
- Knowledge of racquet sports, with an understanding of rules, etiquette, player needs and safety in order to provide the best service possible.
- Strong organizational, technical and communication skills.

Working Conditions:
This role requires physical activity, including walking, standing, and occasionally lifting up to 80 pounds. The manager may work indoors and outdoors, adapting to weather conditions to ensure the smooth operation of the facility throughout all seasons.
