Course Description
The Club at Wynstone is an exclusive 18- Hole privately owned country club. Opening in 1989, it weaves through the rolling hills, wetlands and mature oak stands of the property providing a memorable golf experience each and every time. Nicklaus' vision and respect for the natural topography of the land generated a championship golf course that is ranked as one of the "Best Courses in Illinois" by Golf Digest.
Characteristics of Nicklaus' strategic design elements are very prevalent, with elevated tees and large greens protected by deep bunkers. The golf course is visually stunning with dramatic elevation changes, large water features and expansive fairway and greenside bunkers. There are four sets of tees ranging from 5,946 to 7,162 yards.
Recent Renovations
- The greens were renovated with a blend of 007/Tyee bentgrass
- The fairways were renovated to Penn Eagle II bentgrass
- The fairway perimeters were planted with Kentucky bluegrass
- All tee boxes have been laser-graded to ensure firm/flat surfaces
- New cart paths
Job Description & Responsibilities for Seasonal Staff
I am looking for a few people to help us prep the golf course each morning. This could be setting up tee markers, mowing rough, filling divots or any of the other tasks listed below. Please reach out if you have any questions or interest.
Here are some more of the task we perform on the golf course; mowing greens, tees, fairways, raking and mowing of bunker areas, hand watering of playing surfaces, maintaining clubhouse grounds and all practice facilities, ensure proper care and use of all maintenance equipment, filling of tee and fairway divots, pruning of tree and shrubs throughout property, weeding of landscape beds, maintain cleanliness of all areas of club property (trash, branches etc.)
Salary Range
$17.00 an hour with no experience/ 18 or Higher Starting Pay with Experience
Start Date Range:
Late March - May
