**Job Summary:**
CLW, established in 2008 with multiple locations throughout the state of Ohio, provides day program services to adults with developmental disabilities. We are seeking a compassionate, hard-working, and dedicated full-time Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team. As a DSP at CLW, you will support individuals in their daily activities, promote independence, and ensure their overall well-being. **Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred, but not required. We will train you!
- Ability to follow care plans and assist with activities of daily living
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect privacy
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including, grooming, feeding, and dressing
- Support individuals in household tasks such as meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Provide meaningful daily activities and community outings
- Implement and document individual care plans
- Foster a safe and supportive environment for clients
- Observe and report any changes in clients' physical or emotional condition
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
