Job Posting: Strength Training & Conditioning Coach for Youth Athletes
The Coach’s Clinic is seeking a dynamic Strength Training & Conditioning Coach to lead a 6-week ST&C program for youth athletes (grades 3-8). This is a great opportunity for an experienced coach to work with young athletes, helping them build foundational strength, agility, and conditioning in a structured and engaging environment.
Program Details:
- Location: Brecksville United Methodist Church
- Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays, February 11 – March 20
- Sessions:
- 5:30 PM – Grades 3/4
- 6:30 PM – Grades 5/6
- 7:30 PM – Grades 7/8
- Sessions will be 50-60 minutes with short breaks between groups.
Program Focus:
This camp will utilize minimal equipment (cones, ladders, etc.) and will emphasize:
- Self-resisted exercises for strength development
- Speed, agility, and footwork for enhanced athletic performance
- Stamina and endurance to build overall conditioning
Requirements:
- Certifications: First Aid, AED, and CPR required.
- Experience: Must have experience working with youth athletes and implementing strength & conditioning programs.
- Preferred: Background in lacrosse is a plus but not mandatory.
