Overview: The Fundraising Manager is a key member of the Development Team for Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida, responsible for driving revenue generation by cultivating and building donor relationships, engaging corporate sponsors, and implementing fundraising strategies. This role focuses on securing funding opportunities, engaging with the community, and coordinating events and outreach efforts to meet fundraising goals.

Donor Engagement & Stewardship
- Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors, and community partners to increase financial support.
- Develop and implement strategies to engage and retain existing donors while expanding the donor base.
- Maintain meaningful donor interactions through personalized communications, meetings, and engagement events.
- Provide timely and meaningful acknowledgment and recognition of donor contributions.
Management of Development Coordinator
- Supervise and guide the Development Coordinator, ensuring alignment with fundraising goals.
- Oversee tasks related to donor research, database management, and event logistics while offering ongoing support and performance feedback.
- Oversee the Development Coordinator on tracking donor engagement and maintaining accurate records in the donor management system.
Fundraising Events & Campaigns
- Support the planning and execution of fundraising events such as galas, auctions, and third-party, and community engagement initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and partners to ensure successful event execution.
- Represent the organization at fundraising events to engage donors and key stakeholders ensuring they feel welcomed and appreciated.
Public Outreach & Community Engagement
- Serve as a representative at community events, networking opportunities, and public speaking engagements to raise awareness and funds.
- Host on-campus tours for donors, partners, and community stakeholders, providing insight into the Coalition’s programs and services.
- Actively participate in networking to establish connections with potential funders and supporters.
Collaboration
- Work closely with the Director of Development and development team to align fundraising efforts with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with marketing staff to develop promotional materials and donor communications for fundraising initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, communications, business, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in fundraising, sales, or donor relations is a plus.
- Proficiency in donor management software (e.g., DonorPerfect, OneCause).

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
