We’re searching for an experienced part-time bookkeeper or accounting clerk to assist with the financial aspects of our company.

This is a part-time position.

Flexible hours/schedule during the weekdays of M-F 9 am-5 pm. A minimum of 5 hours per week is required.

Requires working onsite in our Orange Beach office. (Orange Beach, AL 36561 REQUIRED)

Hourly rate dependent on experience and qualifications.


We’re looking for someone who has experience as a bookkeeper or accounting clerk, is proficient with Quickbooks Online, and is extremely detail-oriented.


The successful applicant will also be very organized, have a positive attitude, and have great communication skills. A basic understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles is required.

Applicants must have a reliable vehicle and pass a background check.


Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update financial records using QuickBooks Online
  • Reconcile accounts and file financial records
  • Process receipts, enter data into Quickbooks, and then file hard copies
  • Prepare and review basic financial reports for management
  • Work closely with management to analyze data and identify improvements
  • Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous improvement
  • Demonstrate a commitment to improving processes and providing quality service

Compensation:

$18 - $35 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Manage all financial transactions, such as credit card and bank reconciliations, and oversee the accounts payables and receivables process
  • Implement extensive data entry to ensure all financial data is input into accounting software
  • Safeguard the accuracy of the general ledger and journal entries, prepare balance sheets, and financial reports
Qualifications:
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical, organization and communication skills are needed
  • A high school diploma is required - an associate’s degree in accounting, or business, or related field is preferred
  • Well-versed with Microsoft Office, Excel, and accounting software, such as QuickBooks
