Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cherry Picker to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating cherry picker equipment to efficiently pick and transport goods within the warehouse. This role requires a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and teamwork to ensure that all orders are fulfilled in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Operate cherry picker equipment to retrieve products from high storage locations.
- Accurately pick and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring quality control throughout the process.
- Perform regular inspections of cherry picker equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and team members to maintain efficient workflow.
- Assist in inventory management by conducting regular stock counts and reporting discrepancies.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations while operating machinery and handling materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to warehouse standards.
Skills
- Proven experience operating cherry pickers or similar equipment in a warehouse setting.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems for tracking inventory and order fulfillment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues as they arise.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper lifting techniques are followed.
- Experience with other warehouse equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, or order pickers is preferred.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse operations and safety practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
