Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Unloader to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced distribution center. The Unloader will be responsible for the safe and timely unloading of goods from delivery trucks, ensuring that products are accurately processed and stored within the warehouse. This role is crucial in maintaining the flow of operations and supporting overall warehouse efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Safely unload materials and products from delivery trucks using appropriate equipment.
- Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and cranes as needed.
- Maintain organization within the unloading area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of incoming shipments.
- Adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety policies at all times.
- Assist in shipping and receiving tasks as required, including verifying product counts and conditions.
- Participate in regular inventory checks and assist with stock rotation.
Skills
- Proficiency in operating RF scanners for inventory management.
- Experience with warehouse equipment such as order pickers, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks.
- Strong understanding of shipping and receiving processes within a distribution center environment.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in unloading and inventory management.
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of lifting, moving, and standing for extended periods.
