Required Experience :

  • Must have 3 years of project management engineering experience in the food and beverage industry.
  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering field.

As an Engineer with The Coca-Cola Company, you’ll help us transform our business. In this role, you’ll be responsible for leading the management, implementation, and execution of the technical projects. You’ll work closely with Coca-Cola customers, software development teams, hardware teams, and product owners to investigate and triage issues in the field, identify defect patterns, and develop project plans that meet our transformation goals. The qualified candidate will be solutions-oriented and will have a track record of successfully finalized projects, along with the ability to work in teams and manage conflicting interests.

What You’ll Do for Us

  • Manage Commercialization, Productivity, & Strategic projects across internal and external manufacturing locations to deliver new products and technologies. Develop and manage scopes, budgets, schedules, and risks for all projects.
  • Identify, develop and lead Productivity, Continuous Improvement, Sustainability, and Quality projects across internal and external manufacturing locations.
  • Lead technical aspects in the evaluation, troubleshooting and implementation of new products and packages, working with market development team and bottlers.
  • Collaborate with technical teams in the execution of new technologies, processes, and innovative solutions and products in the market and provide technical operations support in the implementation of promotions and line extensions.
  • Drive productivity initiatives across the system (bottlers, suppliers, FU), identify opportunities in the system to lower our supply chain cost and influence the implementation of practices to improve the affordability of our products.
  • Involved in the development of the business plan objectives and work collaboratively to assure the timely execution of the technical supporting activities.
  • Support package and product quality, co-lead to minimize the risk to the company and the brand assuring the compliance of the technical policies in our internal and external network and influence the producing locations to make the appropriate investment and improve the human capabilities of their personnel in their operations.
  • Review prototypes and define appropriate improvements to ensure brand fit and align with producing locations on implementation and establish the necessary investment where needed.
  • Coordinate and lead technical projects that require cross-system and cross-functional cooperation to deliver innovations in products, packaging, and promotions.
  • Work with internal and external manufacturing sites to deliver initiatives and projects.
  • Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Food Engineering or related field.
  • 3 years of experience in a fast-moving consumer goods company and the ability to leverage technical knowledge & provide competitive advantage. Experience in the food, dairy, beverage / brewery or personal care industries is highly preferred.
  • Ability to triage problems, prioritize accordingly, and propose resolutions.
  • Ability to work independently, raise issues and take corrective action.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and creative thinker with a passion for quality processes.
  • Fluent in software QA metrics, operations, and statistics.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to develop and deliver strategies for new projects, products, and technologies.
  • Must have experience from concept to launch using a defined NPD (New Product Development / Stages & Gates) or change management process.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong project management experience with the ability to define and lead projects and direct / motivate project teams.
  • Demonstrated track record of identifying and reducing to practice technologies for consumer-packaged goods companies to solve challenging business needs.
  • Ability to refine solutions and manage internal and external partner’s expectations against technical and business success criteria with limited available resources.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of programs (Word, XLS, PPT, Project).
  • Travel Requirements : 80% (visiting manufacturing sites and vendor locations)
