The American Canyon facility is a key part of the NAOU (North America Operating Unit) manufacturing network of The Coca-Cola Company. As the Manufacturing Plant General Manager, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of the operation. This pivotal role involves steering the strategic direction and overseeing all aspects of Plant Management—including Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Safety, Environmental (QSE), Finance, Human Resources (HR), and Operational Excellence. As the site leader of our plant operations, you'll ensure the seamless continuity of supply, spearhead the development and execution of our annual business plan, and drive key program implementations. Your leadership will cultivate an atmosphere of operational excellence and collaborative teamwork.

Position Related Activities And Key Role Responsibilities
- Play a key role as the leader of the Local Leadership Team implementing the immediate strategy, execute corrective actions, identify opportunities for improvement to meet production requirements.
- Provide leadership and strategic direction for the Plant, in all areas of Plant Management, Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, QSE, Finance, HR and Operational Excellence. A key part of this will be to increase flexibility (in line with the changing portfolio of TCCC) and productivity for now and for the future.
- Lead with a Safety 1st mindset, hold the team accountable, drive awareness, and continuous improvement.
- Utilize the Management System to ensure collaboration of all key stakeholders (including Operating Units, Technical Functions, Company and Government Regulatory Agencies and Suppliers) to drive improvement to satisfy our QSE, Costs, Reliability, Regulatory requirements as well as Continuous Improvement.
- Act as the site leader with local legal entity responsibility, including local regulatory, authority relationship and management.
- Be responsible for ensuring that the Plant achieves its annual business plan, implementation of key programs, compliance with all TCCC Standards and local regulations. This will require extensive use of standardized procedures, processes, technologies and equipment and will require close collaboration with other members of the Local Leadership Teams implementing agreed upon strategies in the Plant.
- Ensure that the Plant is working collaboratively with key stakeholders (including Operating Units, Technical Functions and Suppliers) with a very customer focused mind-set to satisfy our customers with continuous supply at the optimum cost, with the highest levels of quality and service.
- As a member of the General Manager community, ensure alignment and standardization across all sites on several strategic matters.
- Lead and manage a team of direct reports while also providing inspirational leadership to many indirect reports to maintain and further enhance employee engagement. Will ensure that the right level of capability is developed and maintained within the Plant for now and for the future. This will require office availability as well a certain amount of floor presents and being available at times to off shift employees. Will also identify, develop and grow the next generation of Local leaders through active performance management, coaching, feedback and the People Development Forum (PDF) process.
- Track record of executing business results including people and change management in a supply chain environment.
- Previous experience in multiple functions (including operations).
- Business acumen and P&L management experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience managing relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strategy development.
- Executing in a complex portfolio / matrixed business.
- Operating Unit and/or Bottler experience within The Coca-Cola Company or equivalent organization.
- Technical qualifications in Engineering, Supply Chain or Quality.
- University Degree Required.
- Minimum 10 years’ leadership related experience.
- Direct Technical and Operational Leadership roles in Manufacturing Operations in a Food, Pharmaceutical, Chemical or similar applicable industry experience.
