Job Description
The Cocoa Beach Pier has three different bar/restaurants. As a bartender, you will train at all three outlets to be prepared to work wherever you're scheduled!
PIER ’62- Our newly remodeled bar/restaurant. This bar is a beautiful L shaped bar which gives the guests a choice of cooling off in the AC or sitting outside feeling the ocean breeze. These drinks consist of your classic beachy drinks and also a new menu with crafty sake cocktails. Be prepared to make cocktails at a high volume pace for bar guests & service well.
THE BOARDWALK BAR- The boardwalk bar will be the first bar guests are greeted with walking up the Pier. This bar definitely gets a lot of grab and go drinks and food orders. Be prepared to make cocktails at a high volume while taking care of a very busy service well where the servers turn their tables quickly.
RIKKI TIKI TAVERN-Our beautiful tiki bar at the end of our 800 ft pier. Guests come from all over to drink and dine here with stunning views over the ocean. Be prepared to make cocktails at a very high volume for guests while also make a busy service well your priority.
As a Bartender you will:
- Welcome guests & take orders in a timely manner
- Properly ID all guests 40 & under
- Stay fully informed of beverage and menu offerings
- Must be able to use a jigger for proper counts
- Maintain a safe, clean environment
- Proper cash handling and collecting payments for all transactions
Qualifications
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or a year to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
