Job Description
The Cocoon is hiring a full time Prevention Specialist. This position has a focus on working with students, staff and faculty at area high schools, colleges/universities, and in the community on primary prevention of sexual and domestic/dating violence. The primary prevention work will follow the public health model of interacting on the individual, relationship, community and societal levels to bring about change in stopping violence before it happens. This position also provides on-call assistance/coverage to other staff as needed. After-hours and weekend on-call are scheduled as the agency’s needs arise.
Qualifications
Minimum of one year related experience required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Must have valid driver's license and vehicle. Work hours are flexible in order to accommodate necessary evening or weekend hours. Competitive salary and benefits. Men are encouraged to apply.
