Job Description
The Cocoon is hiring a full time Shelter Advocate. This position assists survivors of domestic and sexual violence and their children in a shelter setting utilizing an empowerment model. This position provides on-going case management and service coordination for current and past residents.
Qualifications
Minimum of one-year related experience and ability to work from an empowerment model is required as well as the ability to communicate effectively and knowledge and experience of domestic and sexual violence related issues.
Required work hours are second shift and on-call is scheduled as the agency's needs arise. Must have a valid driver's license and vehicle. Competitive salary and benefits.
