Brew Crew Opportunity
Our Brew Crew is seeking a Finance Business Partner. This person will work closely with cross-functional business partners within the organization to analyze budgets, provide analytic guidance and support, and identify operational implementations to improve efficiencies and outcomes. This includes researching and analyzing key business drivers, trends, and performance, indicators for the future growth of CBTL’s Americas business. With an emphasis on delivering disciplined growth, enhancing financial reporting, and driving business review processes, this individual will be responsible for supporting, developing, and improving the financial processes that enable sound planning and decision-making. This function acts as the analytical engine of the CBTL Americas business to provide insights, contribute to CBTL’s business strategy, and support optimal business decision-making.
The Finance Business Partner position will report to the Head of Finance, Americas.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Perform and support monthly management reporting requirements including Sales and P&L performance reporting, franchise governance, and compliance monitoring/tracking
- Analyze business drivers impacting organizational performance through the interpretation of financial results and macro-economic trends impacting the market landscape to drive action and challenge/support decisions
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and business updates that provide insight into the financial performance of the business
- Partner with Marketing, Operations, and Development functions to define financial goals prior to launching key initiatives, ensuring that all have clearly defined objectives that align with organizational strategies
- Design and develop tools to monitor performance against predefined goals, ensuring that each is tailored to the type of initiative being measured
- Lead end-to-end short and long-term planning sub-processes for the business
- Perform one-time or recurring financial evaluations impacting franchise operations and financials to support short- and long-term planning and decision-making
- Display a strong, consistent and vocal Finance point of view, remaining neutral and objective on business issues; maintain ability to influence client/partner thinking
Your Ingredients
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Finance, or Analytics required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or Commercial Finance in a multi-national company preferred
- Highly proficient with Excel and PowerPoint; Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI and SQL is preferred
- Franchising, Food service and/or retail industry knowledge and experience is a plus
- Independent, self-motivated and experienced in transition situations where there is rapid change
- Strong ability to think strategically, creatively, and act tactically when required

This is a hybrid position: Monday-Wednesday in our Los Angeles office and Thursday and Friday remote.
