Brew Crew Opportunity

Our Brew Crew is seeking a Finance Business Partner. This person will work closely with cross-functional business partners within the organization to analyze budgets, provide analytic guidance and support, and identify operational implementations to improve efficiencies and outcomes. This includes researching and analyzing key business drivers, trends, and performance, indicators for the future growth of CBTL’s Americas business. With an emphasis on delivering disciplined growth, enhancing financial reporting, and driving business review processes, this individual will be responsible for supporting, developing, and improving the financial processes that enable sound planning and decision-making. This function acts as the analytical engine of the CBTL Americas business to provide insights, contribute to CBTL’s business strategy, and support optimal business decision-making.

The Finance Business Partner position will report to the Head of Finance, Americas.  

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and business updates that provide insight into the financial performance of the business
• Perform and support monthly management reporting requirements, with a primary focus on, though not limited to, G&A Expenses. Other areas of support (as needed) include Sales, Opex and Franchise Governance
• Partner closely with Department Heads to forecast and track the company’s G&A expenses, providing financial and accounting expertise to expertly manage it to budget
• Ensure the accuracy and compliance with financial guidelines, company policies or laws of the financial statements through the regular review of company General Ledgers and close collaboration with Accounting
• Support end-to-end short and long-term planning sub-processes for the business
• Analyze business drivers impacting organizational performance through the interpretation of financial results and macro-economic trends impacting the market landscape to drive action and challenge/support decisions
• Perform one-time or recurring financial evaluations impacting franchise operations and financials to support short- and long-term planning and decision-making
• Display a strong, consistent and vocal Finance point of view, remaining neutral and objective on business issues; maintain ability to influence client/partner thinking

Your Ingredients

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis or Commercial Finance required, preferably in a multi-national company
• Highly proficient with Excel and PowerPoint; Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI and SQL is preferred
• Independent, self-motivated and experienced in managing stakeholders – with the ability to present financial information to a non-finance audience
• Detail-oriented with a high standard of individual excellence
• Adaptable to working across different cultures
• Franchising, Food service and/or retail industry knowledge and experience is a plus

This is a hybrid position: Monday-Wednesday in our Los Angeles office and Thursday and Friday remote.
