Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. You will prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, assist with food preparation, and ensure that all customer needs are met promptly and efficiently.
Duties
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes.
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring that all items are made to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and helping them with their orders.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately, processing transactions efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including the coffee station, dining area, and equipment.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Engage with customers to promote products and upsell items when appropriate.
- Follow health and safety regulations in food handling and preparation.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation methods and equipment.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Experience with POS systems; familiarity with Aloha POS is a plus.
- Previous experience in food service or retail is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.

Pay: $17.01 - $20.00 per hour
