Job description
Assist in managing the operations of audio-visual and multimedia services. Ensure smooth delivery of technical support for events, meetings, presentations, and broadcasts, including tasks like equipment setup, troubleshooting, client communication, and staff training to provide high-quality audio and video experiences. Ensure on-time completion of in-house AV projects as directed. Provide technical support that ensures the proper operation, maintenance, monitoring, testing and repair of complex networked AV equipment and control systems.
Responsibilities:
· Report directly to the CEO of The College Basketball Experience and NCBHoF and provide direct assistance to Sr. Director of Systems and Audio Visual Services.
· Proficient in understanding of Audio-Visual systems including video walls, projectors, monitors, audio mixers, speakers, microphones, interactive exhibits, cabling, etc.
· Become proficient in the operation and use of CBE technology used to make facility functional for daily operation and events. (i.e., use of AMX panel, lighting panels, music control/platforms, video wall, etc.)
· Monitor, program, test, troubleshoot and maintenance all CBE/HoF related exhibits, systems, cabling, internet, wireless, software and hardware in-use or for planned use.
· Lead technical support staff for all CBE special events.
· Videography, still photography (DSLR cam) and video editing skills a plus but not required.
· Capable of gaining understanding and command of CBE lighting and lighting systems.
· Capable of gaining understanding and command of CBE electrical, digital and computer integrations throughout facility.
· Proficient in Windows OS, basic networking and server operation.
· Setup and upkeep of all facility network surveillance cameras. Includes administering Master NVR software, adding and controlling all facility cameras, and upkeep on surveillance storage.
· Must be able to engage customers during regular business hours and assist in all customer service-related issues.
· Must be available to work evening and weekend hours as part of CBE event business as required.
· Assist in facility management where needed outside of primary job duties and responsibilities when requested.
